No excuses really...

So the delay in writing this has really, as the title suggests, no excuses.. I have been rubbish about updating this pretty much ever since Sarah was born!!

In an effort to henceforth update this on a more regular occasion I've decided not even to go back to the last time I wrote and catch everyone up but rather just start from the last few days.

Sarah I think is now well on the mend from the ear infection that has pained her since at least Saturday, no more antibiotics - Yay!! (as per the instructions of her pediatrician) which should hopefully mean the last of the nasty poopy messes, and upset tummy, and since today she was feeling far better than previous days, and because the weather was quite nice, Jen and I took the kiddies on a little walk, not too far from home.

We all had some very welcomed fresh air, and are looking forward to many more summer days ahead.

PS) Congrats to our friends Phil & Triscilla who today bought their beautiful baby girl Clara home from the hospital :D

Apologies...

I have much to be sorry for in that this post is SO far past overdue its not funny.. I thought for sure that I'd have time to do some updating during nap times or something but even those times seem to be filled up so fast with laundry, tidying, eating etc... and before you know it the 2 hour nap is over!!

Well right now Sarah is napping and so I have decided just to come and quickly post a few things.

Sarah is now 5 1/2 months old!! Time flies SO fast its crazy.. and although I am going to update her page too I just wanted to post a few bits here, she is now sitting by herself and has started solids!! I can't believe how everyday she finds new things to do..

Her new favourite toys are Tim Horton's coffe cup lids... I feel that next it will be boxes :D

This past weekend was a busy one, we had a surprise baby shower for a good friend, Triscilla, and then we met up with the Munros downtown at winterlude. I can't even begin to think about how long it is since I saw Dave last but it was great to be able to catch up and swap stories about the squiddies :P

Our basement is now finished!!!! Hooray!!! and I have to say that Daniel & my Dad have done an AMAZING job on it! It is by far my favourite room to be in now

Okay well I better run if I am going to get Sarah's page updated too.. I will try to add some more pictures in here soon, but check Sarah's page for pictures of her.

I just wanted to write a quick note to say that we are still here. We have problems with our computer right now in that we can't upload any pictures :( But Bryan is coming over tonight to hopefully fix it so with any luck we should have some pictures and new posts soon :D

Merry Christmas to all !!

Well, Sarah's first Christmas has come and gone but it was a very special day as we celebrated Jesus' birth with family & friends.

Sarah & her cousin Madi were particularly cute in their matching dresses!!!

Uh oh... Here it comes again...

While I realise that I did somewhat wish the summer away whilst waiting for Sarah to arrive, I find it hard to believe that here we are, now the 29th of October with 10-15cms of the blessed white stuff everywhere once again!! Who ordered this? Don't you know its still October..?!? Although, complaining aside, it does look pretty and picturesque :D

Family Time

This past 2 weeks some of Daniel's family has been visiting with us and we have been to Montreal, the 1000 Islands, Parc Omega, downtown Ottawa, & they also went to both Niagara and Toronto.
